Lekker Kasteel
City Workshop in The Netherlands
age 2 ~ 8 years old

The workshop “Lekker Kasteel” was inspired by it’s environment, inviting six children from all ages to make their own new toy and built up a sweets castle together.

First, the children imagined and re-connected the missing half part of the animal toy. Their unlimited minds freeed the realistic figure and applied super power on each of them. Surprising new species were born..

Later, after children spoke and shared stories of their new friends with each other, they were eager to build up a sweet realm for new animals. As the result, a castle-like landscape was created. Within this scenario, the animals also became alive in their new land. It’s a new kingdom and their new story started from here.

While the children were eating their own creative sweet castle, the stories were still going on. They shared, reviewed and updated the story constantly with friends and parents.

There were no boundaries on their unbound thoughts. And there will always be new chapters from their endless expressions.
